American tech giant NVIDIA recently announced a new platform for developing and deploying generative AI called “AI Workbench”. The news came during the ongoing SIGGRAPH (Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques) conference.
According to a press release from NVIDIA, the AI Workbench is an easy-to-use toolkit to help businesses and enterprises rapidly build, test, and deploy custom generative AI tools using proprietary data. The business can then scale the AI to any data center, including NVIDIA DGX Cloud, with the help of a PC or a mobile workstation.
“NVIDIA AI Workbench provides a simplified path for cross-organizational teams to create the AI-based applications that are increasingly becoming essential in modern business.”, said Manuvir Das, vice president of enterprise computing at NVIDIA.
With hundreds of large language models (LLMs) available for businesses to create their own AI tools, NVIDIA has focused on providing a platform to streamline the whole process, making it easier for companies to adopt customized AI. NVIDIA has collaborated with several leading AI companies such as Dell Technologies, HP Inc., Lambda, and Lenovo to provide the necessary infrastructure for such endeavors.
NVIDIA claims the AI Workbench will be made available for early access soon. Interested parties can sign up through their website for notifications.
