The registration of Binance Italy has been approved. The company will now be able to offer crypto products to the country’s customers, as well as expand its staff and open official office spaces.
- Binance Italy, a subsidiary of the largest cryptocurrency exchange by volume has been approved as a cryptocurrency service provider with the Organismo Agenti e Mediatori (OAM).
- Being registered with the OAM is a requirement under Italy’s legislation. Binance CEO Changpeng “CZ” Zhao stated that “Clear and effective regulation is essential for mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies. We thank the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the OAM for their efforts in defining and controlling the necessary requirements to operate in Italy in full transparency”
- Just recently, Binance France registered as a digital asset service provider in France through the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF). Binance France also invested $100M into a French startup incubator, with CZ’s vision that “France is uniquely positioned to be the leader of this industry in Europe.”
