Crypto.com has announced they are the official sponsor of the 2022 FIFA World Cup hosted in Qatar.
As per their official announcement, Crypto.com will be the exclusive cryptocurrency trading platform sponsor of the event, benefitting from significant brand exposure both within and outside the stadiums.
“Crypto.com has already demonstrated a commitment to supporting top-tier teams and leagues, major events and iconic venues across the world, and there is no platform bigger, or with a greater reach and cultural impact, than FIFA’s global platform of football,”
Kay Madati, FIFA’s Chief Commercial Officer.
In November of 2021, Crypto.com announced they bought the rights to the Staples Arena, in a historic deal inked at US$700 million. Crypto.com has also partnered with the Australian Football League in a $25 million deal, signed a $100-million sponsorship with Formula 1, and confirmed a $175 million sponsorship with the UFC.
CEO and Co-Founder of Crypto.com Kris Marszalek believes that the sponsorship with the FIFA World Cup will “drive further awareness of Crypto.com globally.” This is just one more addition to their expanding list of sponsorships worldwide.
