Over $800M were moved within crypto markets on March 1st, in just Bitcoin. On-chain data tracker Whale Alerts flagged numerous large Bitcoin transactions, with over 35,000 Bitcoins being moved in just a few transactions worth over US$820,000,000.
One transaction saw 11,462 WBTC moved from an unknown wallet to Falcon X.
Another transaction saw 11,221 BTC moved between unknown wallets.
Another one saw 9,756 BTC moved between unknown wallets.
One more from March 1st was 1,054 BTC being moved from an unknown wallet to Binance. Whale Alerts also flagged numerous smaller transactions of less than 1000 Bitcoins.
March 1st was also a busy day for altcoins. Two transactions saw 400 million XRP each unlocked from escrow by unknown wallets, and an unknown wallet also sent 25,361 ETH to Coinbase.
Bitcoin Technical Analysis
Bitcoin fear and greed index is showing weak buy signals, according to Trading View.
The relative strength index (RSI) is at 51, a neutral value close to a floor of 50. Although, the 14-day RSI has declined, failing to breakout at 55.
Bitcoin is trading at US$23,369, a small drop as bulls could not break resistance at $23,800.
