News brief1 Sep 20262 min read

Invesco Ltd. said in a filing that Andrew Lo, Senior Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific, will retire on March 31, 2027, after 32 years with the firm, with Marty Franc set to succeed him.

Franc will transition into the Head of Asia Pacific role during the first quarter of 2027 and will continue to be based in Hong Kong, according to the filing.

After his retirement, Lo will serve as Chairman Emeritus, Asia Pacific, continuing to represent Invesco on the boards of the company's China and India joint ventures and providing strategic counsel to Asia Pacific and global leadership.

Over more than three decades at Invesco, Lo helped build the firm's Asia Pacific business and shaped partnerships and capabilities including the China and India joint ventures, which the filing describes as significant contributors to Invesco's overall success.

Andrew Schlossberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Invesco, said Lo's legacy includes the people he developed and the relationships and trust he built across the region and the firm.

Franc has more than 30 years of asset management experience, including 13 years at Invesco, and has overseen businesses covering Australia, Greater China, Southeast Asian markets and the company's Institutional client strategy. Schlossberg said Franc combines regional expertise, client focus, strategic leadership and knowledge of Invesco's culture and business.

The filing states that Lo and Franc will work closely together over the coming months to ensure a seamless transition for clients, employees, partners and stakeholders.

Invesco is described in the filing as one of the world's leading asset management firms, serving clients in more than 120 countries with US$2.5 trillion in assets under management as of June 30, 2026.
