How is the index worked out?
1Seven indicators. Five come from markets (safe haven demand, junk bond demand, volatility, market momentum and the yield curve) and two from Reddit (sentiment and mention velocity).

3Averaged equally. The index is the plain average of the seven scores, recalculated nightly. Below 25 is extreme fear; above 75 is extreme greed.
