Binance’s BNB Chain released its 2022 roadmap and prioritizes faster transactions, transparency, and support for decentralized applications (dApps).
- BNB Chain Tech Roadmap 2022 was published on Tuesday and is working towards faster and cheaper transactions for the end-user while increasing the block gas capacity until its capped at 200 million.
- BNB Chain aims to heighten decentralization by increasing Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Mainnet validators from 21 to 41.
- The BNB Beacon Chain will turn the Binance decentralized exchange (DEX) into open-source, allowing developers to build on top of the DEX.
- Various dApps including META Apes and Project Galaxy will go live on BNB Application Sidechain (BAS) says Binance. BAS is aimed at the fields of DeFi, GameFi, and SocialFi pushing towards their own metaverse dubbed “MetaFi”.
