Dell Technologies reported record second-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $47.0 billion, up 58% year over year, according to a press release filed as an exhibit to an 8-K with the SEC.
Diluted earnings per share reached a record $6.34, up 273% year over year, while non-GAAP diluted EPS hit $7.04, up 203%. Cash flow from operations totaled $2.2 billion for the quarter.
Dell's Infrastructure Solutions Group posted record revenue of $31.8 billion, up 89% year over year, driven by AI-Optimized Servers revenue of $16.4 billion, up 100%. The company said it booked $60.9 billion in AI server orders during the quarter and exited with a $95 billion backlog. Traditional Servers and Networking revenue rose 122% to $10.5 billion, and Storage revenue increased 26% to $4.9 billion.
Client Solutions Group revenue grew 20% to $15.0 billion, with Commercial Client revenue up 22% to a record $13.2 billion and Consumer revenue up 7% to $1.8 billion. ISG operating income rose 225% to $4.8 billion, and CSG operating income increased 42% to $1.1 billion.
Dell returned a record $4.3 billion to shareholders in the quarter through buybacks and dividends. The board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.63 per common share, payable Oct. 30 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 20.
The company raised its full-year fiscal 2027 revenue guidance by $25 billion to $192.0 billion, up 69% year over year. Full-year GAAP diluted EPS guidance was set at $24.37 and non-GAAP diluted EPS guidance at $25.50, representing increases of 181% and 148% respectively. For the third quarter, Dell guided to revenue of $49.0 billion, GAAP diluted EPS of $6.10 and non-GAAP diluted EPS of $6.50.
