RB Global Inc. announced a series of executive leadership appointments and organizational changes on October 8, said in a filing with the SEC, while also saying it expects full-year 2026 financial results to come in at the high end of its previously issued guidance.
The equipment marketplace company said Steve Steinberg has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. Steinberg has worked at RB Global for more than 10 years and most recently served as Senior Vice President and Head of Strategic Planning and Decision Support, overseeing strategic portfolio management, global financial planning and analysis, commercial operations, pricing, and field enablement.
Shiv Dutt was promoted to the newly created role of Chief Digital and Strategy Officer, where he will lead enterprise technology and digital strategies along with M&A strategy, while continuing to lead Product and Engineering for the Heavy Equipment & Transportation business. Jake Lawson was promoted to President, HE&T North America, a newly created role overseeing the region's sales, operations, marketing, commercial operations, training and analytics. Sam Wyant was promoted to President, Auto North America and International, taking responsibility for Automotive's sales, seller marketing, commercial operations, strategic accounts, regional sales and international auto.
In connection with the appointments, Eric Guerin and Steve Lewis, who had served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer respectively, will be departing the company. CEO Jim Kessler thanked both executives for their contributions to the company's growth.
RB Global said it expects its full year 2026 financial results to be at the high end of the outlook range it provided on August 4, 2026, which called for gross transaction value growth of 9-11% and Adjusted EBITDA of $1,495 million to $1,545 million. The company said it has not provided a reconciliation of its Adjusted EBITDA outlook to GAAP net income because it cannot predict with reasonable certainty the amount or timing of certain non-GAAP adjustments.
The company said it will release its third quarter 2026 financial results before the market opens on November 9, 2026, and will host a conference call and webcast at 8:30 a.m. ET to discuss the results.
