About Enact Holdings, Inc.
Enact Holdings, Inc. is a private mortgage insurance company operating in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, primarily through its subsidiary Enact Mortgage Insurance Corporation. The company provides mortgage guaranty insurance to originators of residential mortgage loans, covering a portion of the unpaid principal balance on low down payment loans and protecting lenders and investors against certain losses from nonpayment. Enact facilitates the sale of mortgages to the secondary market, including to private investors and government-sponsored enterprises such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
