About Loews Corporation
Loews Corporation is a holding company with subsidiaries operating in commercial property and casualty insurance, natural gas and hydrocarbon transportation and storage, and hotel management. Its main subsidiaries include CNA Financial Corporation (insurance), Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP (pipeline transportation and storage), and Loews Hotels Holding Corporation (hotels). Loews also owns a majority interest in Altium Packaging LLC, which manufactures rigid plastic packaging, but does not consolidate its results. The company reports four segments: CNA Financial, Boardwalk Pipeline, Loews Hotels, and a Corporate segment that includes its equity interest in Altium Packaging.
