Tesla produced more than 464,000 vehicles and delivered more than 486,000 vehicles in the third quarter of 2026, the company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company also deployed 13.7 gigawatt-hours of energy storage products during the quarter, according to the filing.
Production broke down to 457,387 Model 3/Y vehicles and 7,004 other models, for a combined total of 464,391 vehicles produced. Deliveries included 478,237 Model 3/Y vehicles and 8,295 other models, for a total of 486,532 vehicles delivered.
Tesla said vehicle production and delivery numbers represent passenger vehicles sold to customers, and some deliveries are subject to operating lease accounting.
The company plans to post its financial results for the third quarter of 2026 after market close on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, with an advisory containing a link to the update on Tesla's Investor Relations website. Tesla management will hold a live question-and-answer webcast that day at 4:30 p.m. Central Time to discuss financial and business results and outlook. An archived version of the webcast will be available approximately two hours after the session concludes.
Tesla noted that net income and cash flow results will be announced along with its full financial performance at the Q3 earnings announcement. The company said delivery and deployment figures represent only two measures of its financial performance and should not be relied on as an indicator of quarterly financial results, which depend on factors including average selling price, cost of sales and foreign exchange movements, to be disclosed in the 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30, 2026.
