Lululemon Overhauls Senior Leadership, Names New Product Chief and COO

Lululemon athletica inc. announced a restructured senior leadership team, including two newly created executive roles, the company said in a filing.

The company appointed Maggie Gauger as President & Chief Product Officer and Joseph Godsey as Chief Operating Officer, both effective October 26, 2026. Gauger joins from Athleta, where she most recently served as President & CEO, and previously spent more than two decades at Nike. Godsey joins from Walmart Canada, where he was Chief Growth Officer, and previously served as Chief Supply Chain Officer of Sam's Club and spent 15 years at adidas.

Gauger's role will bring together design, merchandising, footwear, product innovation, and materials science, with the existing merchandising and design leadership reporting to her. Godsey's role will combine sourcing and production, commercialization, go-to-market, fulfillment, planning and allocations, and sustainability.

Nikki Neuburger, Chief Brand & Product Activation Officer, and Ted Dagnese, Chief Supply Chain Officer, will leave the company on November 6, 2026, to pursue other opportunities. Searches are underway for a Chief Brand Officer, Chief Communications Officer, and Chief Technology Officer, with appointments to be announced once each search concludes. A search is also underway for a Chief Strategy Officer, who will report to Chief Financial Officer Meghan Frank.

Frank will continue as CFO while taking on expanded responsibilities, including interim oversight of the global brand and technology functions until new leaders are in place in those areas. André Maestrini will continue as President & Chief Commercial Officer, Shannon Higginson as Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, and Susan Gelinas as Chief People & Culture Officer, each reporting to CEO Heidi O'Neill.

O'Neill said the company is establishing a leadership team to work in a more coordinated manner, with product, design, and innovation at the center of operations, and thanked Neuburger and Dagnese for their contributions to the company.
