Last Wednesday, Polygon announced the launch of ‘Copilot,’ a ChatGPT-powered guide assistant.
“Whether you’re a serious builder, an enthusiast, or a curious user, Polygon Copilot is an AI-powered interface that unlocks a world of interactions simply by ‘asking.” Polygon added, “Its conversational UI represents a leap in the quality of user experience.”
In partnership with LayerE, Polygon has developed Copilot, an application incorporating OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 technologies. Copilot is designed to offer users valuable insights, analytics, and guidance by leveraging its training on Polygon protocol documentation.
“To ensure transparency and accuracy, [Copilot] shares the sources of the information included in its responses.” Polygon wrote in its post. “This empowers users to verify the information and delve deeper into the topic. Additionally, Polygon Copilot goes beyond just answering questions by suggesting related inquiries, fostering an interactive and engaging experience.”
Factors to Consider When Using “Copilot”
To prevent spamming and excessive computation load, Polygon Copilot limits its responses. However, users can earn additional credits by “performing social tasks such as providing feedback or contributing to improving the offering.” Lucky users may also receive secret codes from partners, which can be redeemed for extra credits.
In addition to answering queries, Copilot offers analytics and insights for NFTs, DeFi, and wallets through the “/stats” command. It also facilitates the minting of zkEVM and PoS NFTs directly within the interface. With the inclusion of convenient hotkeys, Copilot enables faster and more efficient interaction, enhancing the overall speed and user experience.
Upcoming versions of Copilot will bring exciting additions, including new commands designed for various personas and use cases. These enhancements will accompany powerful extensions and plugins, enabling users to automate tasks and streamline processes within the protocol and dApp environments.
