Super Micro Computer said in a filing that it now expects first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $18.5 billion to $19.5 billion, well above its earlier guidance of $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion.
The San Jose-based server maker attributed the higher outlook primarily to increased demand for AI platforms, according to the preliminary business update covering the quarter ended September 30, 2026.
Supermicro also raised its gross margin estimate to a range of 12.0% to 12.5%, up from prior guidance of 10.4% to 10.8%, citing customer and product mix as the main driver.
The company cautioned that the figures are unaudited, based on preliminary results and management's estimates, and remain subject to revision as it completes its financial closing procedures. Actual results for the quarter may differ materially from these preliminary numbers, and the company's independent registered public accounting firm has not audited, reviewed or compiled the preliminary revenue and margin figures.
Supermicro scheduled a conference call and webcast for November 3, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET to review its full first-quarter fiscal 2027 financial results. The webcast will be available on the company's investor relations website, with a replay accessible for one year afterward.
