Tesla Cyberwhistle And Dogecoin (DOGE)

Elon Musk recently introduced a Tesla Cyberwhistle, a cybertruck-shaped toy, to his Twitter followers by tweeting, “blow the whistle.”

  • The Cyberwhistle is made of stainless steel, takes the shape of Tesla’s cybertruck model, and retails for 1000 DOGE (~US$60).  Dogecoin holders are returning to activity as the Cyberwhistle sells out.
  • Many are yet to determine the reason for Cyberwhistle’s release. Many see it as a subtle dig at Twitter after unsuccessful plans to purchase it for US$44B. Musk pulled out of the deal because Twitter did not provide the required information regarding the amount of spam and fake accounts on the platform.

  • Twitter went on public record that these spam accounts contribute to less than 5% of Twitter’s active users. However, Musk disagreed with the numbers and believes they may be higher. He asked the company to hand over its analysis to back up its claims.
  • Twitter’s former head of security, Peiter Zatko, agrees with Elon Musk regarding the number of spam accounts on Twitter. He further indicated that the spam accounts’ problem is much bigger than Twitter could admit. Musk’s lawyers have subpoenaed Zatko as a witness against Twitter in court.
  • Crypto users believe the Cyberwhistle Elon Musk released is to reference Zatko, who became Twitter Whistleblower. On the other hand, some believe that Elon Musk still has big plans for Dogecoin.
